The Lord showed me a picture

Praying for people...
Lord help them to hear You!
I saw a disobedient child put their hands over their ears...
squeeze their eyes tight , singing 'la la la la' so as not to hear at all.
I saw how sad the Lord looked.
I got angry - I wanted to pull those hands off those ears.
The Lord said, "No! Don't! It's my kindness that leads them to repentance. Pray that they will see that I am good."

I prayed that people will open their eyes... and I saw this child looking through their lashes.

I shared this with a friend the other day and they encouraged me with...
Ephesians 1:17 & 18
I pray to the God of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is the glorious Father.
I keep asking him to give you the wisdom and understanding that comes from the Holy Spirit. I want you to know God better.
I also pray that your mind might see more clearly.
Then you will know the hope God has chosen you to receive.

You will know that the things God's people will receive are rich and glorious.

Eye of the storm

Imagine you're in the eye of a storm...
It is so clam smack bang in the middle...
if you move away from the centre and loser to the edge, the water starts to get rougher...
the closer you get to the wall of the storm the more damage you're likely to acquire...

Peace can be like this... the further away we get the less peaceful it can be...
there maybe other storms approaching... will they enter and cause more chaos?
or vice versa?
don't get sucked into the vortex of these other storms or thrown about by the wall of the storm that surrounds you...
Try to stay centred and keep your peace regardles of what is going on around you.
